We went out and played in the snow yesterday! Caden liked walking around in the snow a lot more than he did last year!
Mean while Taylor stayed nice and cozy in bed. 
And today we finally got out of the house and went to play at our churches indoor playground, called The Tubes.

We have been snuggled up inside the last few days. Chris didn’t go to work, Caden didn’t go to school and I didn’t run my usual errands. It was fun on Tuesday, Wednesday was restless and today has been full of cabin fever!!

We finally went outside for a bit yesterday. IT.WAS.COLD.
And this morning Caden and I played a game of hide and seek. He didn’t really get the concept and kept wanting “mommy hide” but I think he enjoyed running around the house. We have been going a little stir crazy!

We did get out to go to the grocery store today. The roads are better, but still very icy. I didn’t trust myself driving on the ice, so Chris drove. And I sure am glad that he did, we slid a few times and almost ran into our neighbors fence!

Thanksgiving was at our house this year. Chris’ family came to visit us. It was Chris’ dad and sisters’ first time to meet Taylor.
My mother in law did most of the cooking and it sure was yummy!! We have so much to be thankful this year. Two wonderful, healthy children, loving family and friends, a place to call home, and so much more! Caden was even thankful this year, we asked what he was thankful for and he said “cars.” haha

Fall is finally here!! And I think I have decided that it is my favorite time of year!! I love the cooler weather and all the fun decor that starts the holiday season.

We have also been outside as much as possible lately! Going to parks, taking walks, a kickball game with friends and more!!

Caden had his first dentist appointment last week. He was not pleased with being held down to get his teethed brushed, but he sure did love Nemo and Dori!!
What is fall without a BBQ with friends while watching a Horseshoe tournament! My friend Sarah and her husband James came in town for James’s Parents 10th Annual Horseshoe tournament. It was fun to catch up with them!

My mom left for Africa on Friday for a “pilgrimage” with her church. I am sure she is having a challenging, fulfilling time right now. I can’t wait to hear all about her trip!
So this past weekend my dad and grandma came into town! It was a very relaxing weekend.

Chris replaced the struts and shocks on our car! He is such a handy man….I’m so blessed to be married to a man that can save us hundreds, if not thousands, on car repair!
