Trip to Corpus
This past weekend we went to Corpus Christi. It was initially suppose to to be my Alumni weekend for Texas A&M Corpus Christi Volleyball, but it turned into a more relaxed, catching up weekend with friends from my old church.
We stayed with our good friends Jonathan and Mia Tidden. They have a precious baby girl Jocelyn that we got to meet for the first time!

It was a relaxing but fun filled weekend! We walked around my old stompin grounds, went to the beach, drove over to Port A, on the ferry, and through Portland. We ate at the restaurants I have been missing most….HuDat Noodle House, Aka Sushi, Snoopy’s, and WaterStreet Seafood and Co. YUMMY!!! (if only my pregnant belly would have wanted to eat more) On Sunday we went to my old church, and had a get together with great friends…who all have kids now..so crazy!!

Whenever I would say “wow..that is new” or “everything is so different” chris would reply with “your so old.” not cool
Of course driving downtown and seeing that my old office building is boarded up didn’t help either! haha! I again heard a “your so old.”

At the beach…Caden was unsure of the sand at first(he hates getting his hands dirty), he sat on a towel and we slowly slid it out from underneath him! Then he saw a ball and there was no turning back…he did not care about the sand after that!

We tried to get family pictures in the bluebonnets…didn’t work so well. It reminded me of pictures with Santa!
He had a blast walking around the bluebonnets, but as soon as I sat him down this is what we got…
After church we had a get together at the house. It was so fun to see so many good friends and their new little ones all in one place! Us girls have been friends for 5-6 years now and so much has changed since, including 5 little ones!

Caden had so much fun with the two boys of the group! They hung out on the stairs for a while and followed each other around! so cute!!
